Men in a Huddle

Final requirements for DACA renewals have been published, and the renewal window for early DACA applicants has begun.  You may qualify to renew your Deferred Action if, among other factors:

  • You have not left the U.S. after Aug. 15, 2012 without advance parole;
  • You have resided in the U.S. since you were approved for DACA; and
  • You still have not been convicted of a felony, a significant misdemeanor, or three or more misdemeanors, and do not otherwise pose a threat to national security or public safety.

It is important for those with DACAs expiring by December 2014 to be prepared to renew as soon as USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) is ready to begin accepting renewal applications.

It is not too early to contact our office to get your paperwork in order.  We are already hearing from our DACA clients who wish to renew. We are also being contacted by those who would like to apply for DACA for the first time.

If you did not obtain your initial DACA through our office, we can still assist you in the renewal process.
